The Health Department would like to remind all dog owners of Borough Ordinance 55-4 relating to dogs running at large. A leash is required at all times. The penalty for a first offense is $100.00; the penalty for a second offense is $200.00; the penalty for third and subsequent offenses is $300.00.

First Ward Action Committee Kickoff

On April 7, 2018, Councilwoman Denise Wilkerson will be hosting The First Ward Action Committee Kickoff at the Warinanco Sports Center, 1 Park Drive, Roselle, New Jersey 07203. The event will be held between 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. The purpose of this event is to strengthen the bond between all First Ward residents, local businesses, churches, community organizations and elected officials. The charge for all attendees is to be more active in the process of moving our community forward through ACTION.

Roselle Chamber of Commerce's Women’s History Month Program

The Roselle Chamber of Commerce presents “Women’s History Month,” an evening honoring trailblazing women leaders in business and the Roselle Community, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Abraham Clark High School, 122 East 6th St., from 6 to 8 p.m.

Our guest speaker will be Joetta Clark Diggs, NJ’s 4-time Olympian motivational extraordinaire, author and business woman. Light refreshments will be served. This is a free event.

2018 Employment for Summer Fun Camp

Applications will be available at the Anthony Amalfe Community Center, 1268 Shaffer Ave., from March 13 through May 10, 2018 on Tuesday through Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m.

Crisis Response Team (CRT) Available for Assistance

CRT Volunteers provide support and assistance to individuals experiencing domestic violence. If you need help, go to your local police station and ask to speak with a CRT Volunteer confidentially. If you are in imminent danger call 911 or the 24hr. Hotline at 908-355-4357.

This is a reminder to residents that our Borough of Roselle Council Meetings air on TV 34/37 on the following days and times:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8am and 7pm
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday at 12 noon
  • Sunday at 3pm and 9pm

American Cancer Society's Bark for Life

Join us for the American Cancer Society's Bark For Life of Central NJ on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at  Mannio Park, 
1 Mannio Park Dr., Old Bridge, from 12 to 4 p.m.

This is a Dog-Walk and Festival to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. Doggie contests, entertainment, demos and more for a good cause!

Celebrate - Remember - Bark Back!

B Street Band at Roselle Catholic High School

Roselle Catholic Girls Basketball presents B Street Band, the original Springsteen Tribute Band, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Roselle Catholic High School, 350 Raritan Rd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.

All proceeds will benefit the Roselle Catholic Girls Basketball program and also raise funds for “Write on Sports.”
