Fire Department

Mission Statement

The Mission Statement of the Roselle Fire Department states that we are to protect from fire and other emergencies, provide emergency medical services, rescue and assist members of the community with problems beyond their control through code management, public education and incident response.

The safety of the residents of Roselle has been and always will be the main concern of our Department. When an emergency call is received we will respond with the intent of making the scene as safe as possible and removing victims that may be in harm’s way to a safer location. In order to comply with our mission we must make decisions that may not be initially understood by the general public. I can assure all of the residents of Roselle that the decisions we make are made with the intention of providing a safe environment so that the quality of life can be maintained at a level that ensures that everyone feels safe from the devastation of fire.
