Attention Roselle Residents: Discarding TV’s

As of January 1, 2011 televisions will no longer be picked up at the curb with the Bulk Trash Recycling. Please bring all discarded TVs to the Public Works Yard.

Discarding Batteries

Alkaline Batteries
AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volts

Batteries now fall below federal and state hazardous waste standards and can be disposed of in the regular trash.

Any rechargeable batteries can be brought to the following locations for recycling: Public Works, Roselle Library, Borough Hall and The Community Center.

Nickel Metal Hydride (NI-MH)
Lithium Ion (LI-ION)
Nickel Zinc (NI-ZN)
Small Sealed Lead - Less Than 11lbs (PB)

Energy Bill Assistance

Do you know someone having trouble paying their energy bills? Let them know help is available.


In challenging economic times, there are customers who may need assistance in paying their natural gas bills. Non-profit organizations and federal, state and local agencies offer a variety of programs to assist qualified individuals.
