Attention Roselle Residents: Discarding TV’s

As of January 1, 2011 televisions will no longer be picked up at the curb with the Bulk Trash Recycling. Please bring all discarded TVs to the Public Works Yard.

Discarding Batteries

Alkaline Batteries
AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volts

Batteries now fall below federal and state hazardous waste standards and can be disposed of in the regular trash.

Any rechargeable batteries can be brought to the following locations for recycling: Public Works, Roselle Library, Borough Hall and The Community Center.

Nickel Metal Hydride (NI-MH)
Lithium Ion (LI-ION)
Nickel Zinc (NI-ZN)
Small Sealed Lead - Less Than 11lbs (PB)

No Garbage or Recycling Pick Up - November 23rd & 24th

Due to the Holiday on November 23rd and 24th, 2017, there will be no garbage or recycling pick up. Please have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Road Construction on Chestnut Street

Please be advised that Chestnut Street from W. 1st Avenue to St. George Avenue in Roselle will be under construction on or about Thursday, November 16, 2017. It is anticipated that the work will take approximately 7 nights to complete, weather permitting.
