Attention Roselle Residents: Discarding TV’s

As of January 1, 2011 televisions will no longer be picked up at the curb with the Bulk Trash Recycling. Please bring all discarded TVs to the Public Works Yard.

Discarding Batteries

Alkaline Batteries
AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volts


Batteries now fall below federal and state hazardous waste standards and can be disposed of in the regular trash.

Any rechargeable batteries can be brought to the following locations for recycling: Public Works, Roselle Library, Borough Hall and The Community Center.

Lithium Ion (LI-ION)
Nickel Zinc (NI-ZN)
Small Sealed Lead - Less Than 11lbs (PB)

  • Dietz Street (5th Avenue to 6th Avenue)
  • Uncas Avenue (Wood Avenue to Alison Road)
  • Cherry Street (7th Avenue to Holly Drive)
  • West 6th Ave – Pine to Locust
  • East 11th – Chestnut to dead end
  • 6th Ave – Pine to dead end

Water company roads to be Paved (scheduled from 8/8 to 8/16)

  • Linden Rd - Rosewood To 3rd Ave. (Full) & Rosewood To Dead End (1/2)
  • Linden Rd - 3rd Ave. To 1st Ave.
