The Health Department would like to remind all dog owners of Borough Ordinance 55-4 relating to dogs running at large. A leash is required at all times. The penalty for a first offense is $100.00; the penalty for a second offense is $200.00; the penalty for third and subsequent offenses is $300.00.

1st Annual Legal Aid Workshop

Councilman Samuel Bishop, in collaboration with Councilwoman Andrea Staten and Recreation Leader Donald Shaw, proudly present the Borough of Roselle’s 1st Annual Legal Aid Workshop on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the main gym of Abraham Clark High School, 122 E. 6th Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Receive free legal information on topics including family law and civil rights law.

Abraham Clark H.S. Senior Darla Fequiere Wins Outstanding Business Student Award

Pictured at the Abraham Clark High School Scholarship awards presentation on Thursday, June 1, 2017 are Roselle Savings Bank President and CEO, Detlef Felschow and Business & Finance Scholarship winner Darla Fequiere. Darla will begin her college studies in Finance at Rutgers University in the fall.

Abraham Clark High School and Roselle Savings Bank have selected graduating senior Darla Fequiere of Roselle as the recipient of the 2017 Roselle Savings Bank Outstanding Business & Finance Student Award. Detlef Felschow, Roselle Savings Bank President and CEO, presented Darla with her award at the 2017 Abraham Clark High School Scholarship Night on Thursday, June 1st. Candidates for the award are evaluated on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, exemplary participation in extracurricular activities and a high level of personal integrity and commitment.

Positively Positive Mentoring for Youth Ages 8 to 13

Roselle First presents Positively Positive Mentoring for Youth ages 8 to 13, which is a Mentoring/Coaching program held at Borough Hall, 210 Chestnut St., on Thursdays for one hour a week from 4 to 5 p.m. Roselle youth enjoy light refreshments and fun activities with fascinating role models!

For hard to reach youth, we have professionals that will provide several individual special development plan sessions for positive guidance. The program runs from February to November 2017 with a closing ceremony in December.
