ZONING BOARD MEETING TIMES

The Zoning Department, under the direction of Rodney E. Smith, Zoning Officer, is devoted to the use of land in the Borough of Roselle. 

Any additions, increases, decreases, use, etc. must come through this office.  According to the zones that are within the town, the Zoning Officer can determine the use of any property. He can determine how high a building can be built, or increased. He can determine if an addition onto the front or rear can be made, and approve or deny the request accordingly.  Also, very importantly, by State of New Jersey Statute, the Zoning Officer must give an approval or denial within ten (10) business days from the date of receipt of the application.
