Please be advised that on or about March 7, 2022 the Gordon Street Bridge located between West Westfield Avenue (NJ Route 28) in Roselle Park and West 1st Street in Roselle will be closed for an extended period of time to facilitate the long-awaited demolition of the bridge and approaches. This work will culminate with the construction of a new, wider bridge and new approaches that are structurally capable of carrying larger truck loads. The closure of the bridge for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic is expected to continue through July 2023.
