Statement from Mayor Donald Shaw - April 12, 2023

I would like to salute and applaud the valiant efforts made by the Roselle Police Department and our law enforcement partners in locating a 13-year-old resident after she was reported missing on Tuesday, April 11.

Through non-stop efforts with the assistance of the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, the Union County Sheriff’s Department and the Linden Police Department, the girl was found unharmed at the Walmart Supercenter on Edgar Lane in Linden this morning, Wednesday, April 12.

I would also like to thank all of the residents who took to social media and other channels to quickly spread the word. Seeing our community and other partners work in conjunction shows that we are truly stronger together.
